The foundation provides the necessary funding for not just the working ranch, but many other areas designed to provide opportunities for Foster and Homeless teens to grow and explore.
KEY PRIORITIES OF THE FOUNDATION
Scholarship funds for college education
Travel funds for schools trips, American history adventures, or study-abroad
Wedding funds to host weddings on the farm and to support healthy relationship-building
Entrepreneurship training in the form of renting booths at fairs and farmers markets to sell home-grown items and food
Service learning programs designed to teach teens to give back to their community, including training service dogs and becoming therapy horse instructors
Monthly "Sunday on the Ranch" BBQ promoting community integration and adult mentorship
Outside volunteers teach activities to broaden the teens' horizons, exploring subjects such as cooking, art, music, machine and auto restoration, construction, hiking and biking, sports, photography, etc.
